The Semicolon Project
A semicolon tattoo can be a personal reminder that a story can continue. Since 2019, SAP;UK has brought studios and communities together to raise awareness of suicide prevention.
Tattoo prices start from £15; each studio sets its own price.
Why the semicolon?
A small mark, with a personal meaning
The project began in 2019 when SAP;UK founder Danielle Shaw brought the idea from America and gave it a local community focus. People choose a semicolon tattoo for their own reasons; for many, it represents hope and continuing through difficult times.
Participating studios have raised thousands for suicide prevention organisations and charities. Each studio decides whether it donates and which organisation it supports. The project is centred on awareness, and donations are appreciated.
