“I don’t know anyone either” 12 month UK event

Its a 12 month project that brings community events to the community. Each event differs. Either the last Saturday / Sunday of every month.
The aim of this project is to get people who are struggling to get into the community, into the community.
We can do this by getting to know one another here and if necessary local services / businesses at a specific event / venue.
For some events we are looking for 10-20 local businesses to join us in this unique community movement.
At each afternoon / evening event there will be trained facilitators and a range of different groups / services within the area. We hope to see you soon <3

23rd March – Longridge event link  – community day – completed
We collaborated with Longridge Civic Hall, local businesses & local people to produce a community focused day. The day itself was warm and welcoming, we saw some new faces and experienced a whole new level of togetherness for some. By starting the project this way we are able to provide a community base, that we will be back to in September. For this day we offered free roast dinners to our community, working with local chefs we fed around 50 people.

26th April – Stoke-on-trent –  event link  – music gig
To collaborate with local bands and musicians to provide an afternoon of music at The Quarter @ The Potbank.
